Pro Bono

Our social responsibilities extend to providing pro bono advice and support to all sectors of the community through free legal advice clinics. We provide legal advice and representation to individuals, charities and community groups who cannot afford to pay for advice or representation and where public and alternative means of funding are not available. Members’ pro bono work ranges from defending litigants in terrorist cases before the High Court in Rwanda, to representing hundreds of families in group litigation in the Supreme Court in India where victims were extrajudicially killed by the police and security forces and illegally cremated.
