Practice

Roger practises solely in the field of crime, both prosecution (Grade 3) and defence, and is highly regarded as a leading junior in both fields. He has extensive experience acting for Defendants who face the gravest allegations involving physical and sexual violence, kidnapping and blackmail, serious fraud, money laundering and trafficking of both drugs and people. He is often counsel of choice with particularly difficult, aggressive or mentally disturbed defendants, and for clients with a history of  complaining or withdrawing  instructions. He is a registered pupil supervisor, and former acting head and sometime deputy head of chambers. Roger has recently had an article on obscenity published in the Solicitors Journal.
