Claire practices in Family Law with emphasis on complex children cases and is instructed on behalf of guardians, parents, and wider family members at all levels. Her expertise includes representation of vulnerable children and their families in criminal, education and welfare matters.
In addition Claire is instructed in general criminal litigation, recently having appeared on behalf of a defendant in relation to a multi-handed international conspiracy to defraud in which the alleged loss was estimated to be $2 million. She strongly believes in clients' right to be properly represented at all levels in the criminal justice system and is happy to receive instructions both on a legally aided and privately funded basis.
Claire's work also covers education, probate and human rights law. She was briefed as counsel in the leading case of ROTH GMBH & Others v Secretary of State for the Home Department, CA. Claire is happy to accept instructions in relation to European and human rights matters, to include private and public litigation.
