Claire practises in family law with emphasis on complex children cases and is instructed on behalf of guardians, parents, and wider family members at all levels.  Her expertise includes representing vulnerable children and their families in criminal, education and welfare matters.

In addition Claire is instructed in dangerous dogs work and general criminal litigation, including fraud.  She strongly believes in clients’ right to be properly represented at all levels in the criminal justice system and is happy to receive instructions both on a legally aided and privately funded basis.

Claire offers specialist advice in the area of dangerous dog cases. Recently she won an appeal and set a precedent on the definition of pit bull type dogs.

Crime

Claire covers a range of general criminal litigation, recently having appeared on behalf of a defendant in relation to a multi-handed international conspiracy to defraud in which the alleged loss was estimated to be $2 million.  She strongly believes in clients’ right to be properly represented at all levels in the criminal justice system and is happy to receive instructions both on a legally aided and privately funded basis.
