The Defendant was charged with two offences of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, having pleaded guilty to the supply of Class B drugs before trial. He accepted possession of the Class A, however sought to advance at trial that a quantity of the drugs had been bought by accident and that one of the drugs was a pain reliever.
Following three hours of jury deliberations, the Defendant was unanimously acquitted on both Counts. The case involved complex analysis of messages and substantial legal argument.
