To our friendly working environment, we would like to appoint a Junior Criminal Clerk. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic clerk to support a strong crime team with leading criminal barristers. Responsibilities will include diary and case management, marketing activities, negotiating fees, billing, liaising with the court service, supporting the administrative work of Chamber’s subcommittees and deputising for the Senior Criminal Clerk, as required.


A minimum of two years legal clerking experience is essential, along with a minimum of 5 GCSEs passes A-C/5-9 including Maths and English. IT proficiency is essential, and knowledge of LEX would be an advantage. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable ability to multitask and prioritise efficiently and effectively in a busy working environment, strong interpersonal skills and an unwavering attention to detail. The successful candidate will also have a keen interest in professional and business development.

Salary range: £25,000 to £28,500 per annum dependant on experience
