We are currently looking to recruit a third six pupil with an interest in developing a criminal and housing practice.  During third six candidates will primarily be expected to cover chambers’ criminal work and should have at least six months’ experience, including summary trials, Crown Court advocacy and experience of possession, disrepair and homelessness.

We expect that pupils will spend approximately two days per week doing magistrates’ court work, in addition to housing hearings and paperwork.

All candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach to developing their own practices, have a commitment to chambers’ ethos and a desire to contribute to chambers.

Third six pupils will be allocated a supervisor and will benefit from ongoing support throughout their time with us.  As a third six pupil, you will have the benefit of a positive and collaborative working environment, and the opportunity to build a multi-disciplinary practice alongside established and well-recognised practitioners in both housing and crime.

Third six pupils will receive guaranteed earnings on a monthly basis of £1250 for the first three months.

Applicants should email a CV and covering letter to soraya.bauwens@1mcb.com.
