Jemma Levinson, led by Garry Green KC of Doughty Street Chambers, secures unanimous not guilty verdicts on charges of murder and manslaughter following a 3-week trial at the Old Bailey.
The Defendant, a youth, was charged with murder following an altercation with the deceased in which all parties, including his co-Defendant, used knives. The Prosecution claimed that the Defendant had attacked the deceased in an act of revenge. The Defendant claimed that he acted in self-defence.
The jury returned unanimous not guilty verdicts on both murder and manslaughter within two hours of deliberations.
