Tetevi is led by Susan Meek of Rose Court Chambers and is instructed by Anthony Mordi of Mordi & Co solicitors.

The case concerns the alleged importation of over 100kg of cocaine into the UK from Jamaica and Antigua between December 2023 and June 2024.

It is said that the eight defendants conspired with individuals, both known and unknown, to import the drugs in suitcases passing through UK airports.  The defendants deny being part of a conspiracy to import cocaine.

Numerous agencies have been involved in the investigation of these alleged offences, including the National Crime Agency, Metropolitan Police Service and Border Force as well as the Jamaican authorities.

The case involves the analysis of extensive financial records, flight records, CCTV and forensic evidence.

The trial is expected to last 10 weeks at Isleworth Crown Court.
